@ Sherry - How do you post pictures from the internet?

Welcome to yet another new month everyone! I know for most of us December is always a hard month due to all of the holiday parties and Christmas just over 3 weeks away then a week after Christmas is New Years Eve and New Year’s Day...Accountability is going to be very important this month we have to continue to login and count calories as best as possible along with getting our workouts in throughout the week. Remember "FORGET CALM GO BEASTMODE!" lol

Hey! I just posted tomorrow's thread, to then see that you'd beat me to it! (Deleting mine.)

To post images, you use in the front and in the back (without the space). I'll post one and you can "Quote" it and you'll see the tags. That's how it's done!

Here goes. Just "quote" this and you'll see. (You don't have to "send" the post, just by quoting it, you'll see the code.)

You got it! Accountability and knowledge (of one's self) is so important this month. There's absolutely no reason why the holidays have to crush our previous efforts. I think it just takes some planning and pacing ourselves. Going to a holiday party?? Then plan ahead and go easy on the calories for 3 days beforehand, run an extra 10 minutes each of those days, do some burpees, whatever it takes. The most important thing is to not lose ground that has taken so long to gain control over, right? Thanks for keeping the focus!!

@ Sherry - Thanks I figured it out!

Today I did a 5k with my Army co-worker again he burned out after the first mile lol so..I had to slow down so I would not loose him my time with my sprint at the end was 30:39 he was easily a minute for two behind me. Then into the gym worked out my chest, triceps, and shoulders all lighter of course due to my shoulder still bothering me so I dropped the weights 40lbs for chest and 35lbs for triceps then shoulders was very light didn't exceed 50lbs. I figured it was better to just take it easy until my shoulder fully heals it's better then last week but still an annoying pain pretty sure it's just a muscle strain. Combined time of 92 minutes and 792 calories burned today  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Tim, another great workout day for you!

Weekends are family time here. The gloomy weather (can't hit the playground) makes it challenging to keep the kids occupied, without getting bored or stir crazy.

Have a great rest of the weekend everyone.

Got in 100 jump ropes, 40 granny pushups, 40 squats (6k dbs)!

I'm babying my wrists, timothydriver, and it is kind of frustrating to have a set back. I adjusted my form once my wrists stopped hurting. With shoulders, I learned to baby the rotator cuff which seems to protect against muscle pulls over all in that area. For instance, push ups never go lower than 90 degrees. I avoid dips. And I use dumbbells instead of a bar.

Here, check out what this guy (a body builder/trainer/physiotherapist) has to say:

This!! It's really hard to plan and pace, and even harder to find the time to get in those workouts, esp with all the kids home (and bored!) So I'm keeping MFP up and running, and I'm logging my food (checking it twice!), and posting my exercise in three different places! Just trying to get support and get hyped up to stay.in.control!!

    Thanks for being there, y'all!

    Beast Mode Activated!

Okay actually I'm feeling a little bit wimpy today, but I'll remember Beast Mode for the rest of the month. My body hurts today, and the next 4 days I've got scheduled workouts, so I'm going to do kind of an active recovery day today. This is usually my cardio cross-train day where I use 3 or 4 different cardio machines, but today I think I'll just do 1 or 2. I'll get on the bike and maybe the rowing machine, and skip the elliptical and Jacob's Ladder. Or if the weather is okay maybe I'll just try to get out for a walk later.

Snowed first snow last night then rained all day and I got to dog walk in the middle of it...I love my friends dog...but seriously how do you dog people do it in the winter? No walks...or like I did today slush out in 35 degrees with cold rain on me...

Will be glad to go back to just my cats....

Mostly veging with book all day while husband watching football.
